Gaze

I've gotten myself into trouble
appearing to look at others
like lovers 
though there wasn't a thought
behind those eyes.

It seems I can't control them,
but if I could you'd surely
get to know them
and if the whole world
read my gaze
I clearly wouldn't mind.
