Mask

I've got a bad habit
of fitting in the space i'm given
while somehow not fitting in at all.
when i amplify an aspect of my personality
suddenly my existence is so small
like i'm not myself.
a different being.
And when i look in the mirror
my face appears exactly like
the mask i keep seeing.
